see screenshot attached to this post ,

the question in the window popup is : required authentification Mozilla Thunderbird : the site https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com asks for a username and password . The site indicates : « YahooCalendar » very strange it seems the password is not stored somewhere or Yahoo rejects the authentification .. thanks for your help Philippe

Chosen solution

I think Yahoo uses OAuth2 authentication for calendars, as it does with mail accounts, but if you don't have cookies enabled in TB Options/Privacy & Security, the authentication fails. Does this apply to your setup?

If it still doesn't work, try TbSync and the associated Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV add-ons.

hi sfhowes thanks lot for your valuable help :-) from your 2 suggestions, I tested the 1st one but my TB security options already enabled cookies settings , then per yourr 2nd advice I started to install TBSync as add-on in my TB 78.2, also I had to enable Application Password in Yahoo security settingsd for TBsync to synchronize with Yahoo. then now it works perfectly synchronizing both ways my agenda ! Thanks again , have a nice day wherever you are and enjoy life :-) Philippe from Paris (France)
