Hello I currently have firefox installed in my C drive. I want to move it to my SSD but I cant seem to find a way to do so. I tried uninstalling it to give me the option to select where I want to install it but whenever I launch the installer the only option it gives me is to re-install firefox and it does so in my C drive, no option to install it into my SSD.

During the install, use the manual option.

You need to use the full installer to be able to choose a custom install.

What reasons do you have to install Firefox on the D-drive ?

Note that Firefox uses a lot more disk space and disk activity to access the profile folder in "AppData\Roaming" Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>

You may want to create a new profile on the D-drive.
