Unified inbox count is wrong

more options

Hello, helpers! Thanks for being here.

I'm running up-to-date Tbird on a 2014 Mac Air, updated to the latest Catalina OS.

I have three inboxes, and I use the "unified inbox" display. The unread emails count doesn't incorporate unreads from all accounts. That is: Account A has three unread email; Account B has 15 unread emails. The unified inbox count is only 3, where it should be 18.

This is a newish (last couple weeks) problem I hoped would be fixed by updating to the newest version, but no luck. Ideas please?

Thanks!

I found the problem! In case it helps others:

The real issue was that Account B wasn't included in the Unified Inbox at all - not just the unread count, but the emails themselves.

I followed https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1300055 these directions from another user's topic and the problem is fixed!
