Had to change my Yahoo Mail password. Am able to connect with my online screen and, after changing the password, with my iPhone. Cannot get Thunderbird to connect. Have entered the new password by editing the Password Manager and it shows the correct password. Error Message comes up with both sending & downloading that the AT&T server does not recognize the passport. Any ideas? Thanks, HDECININ

Chosen solution

Are you using Yahoo servers, e.g. imap.mail.yahoo.com, or AT&T servers, e.g. imap.mail.att.net? For AT&T servers, generate a secure mail key and use that in place of the account password.

It worked though AT&T's "support" led me round and round the mulberry bush.

Thanks
