Hello, I'm using the latest version 83.0, 64 bit on Win 7, Ultimate The standard icons that every html and htm files used to have are not displayed anymore in the Explorer - the icon is just a white square with bent upper right corner. If I switch to Chrome or Edge as default browser they display properly. How to fix it?

Chosen solution

It got corrected/fixed by itself. Maybe after I installed some other software.

You can check for issues with the Windows icon cache.

I followed the instructions on that page and IconCache.db file got recreated but the proper html and htm icons are still still not displayed. I also tried to use FileTypesMan from nirsoft.net but it doesn't fix it either. Amy other ideas?
