Thunderbird is forwarding all my emails to a gmail account and I want to turn it off.

It is not using a filter to do this and I cannot find where to turn it off.

If it's not using a filter, then you may have configured a global inbox used by both Gmail and your other account, if they are both setup for POP access. There is no other way that I can think of that Thunderbird would do that. I strongly doubt if it is Thunderbird's doing.
