Hi team, I use web outlook as my general email client but have one specific folder I'd like to synchronise with Thunderbird so that I can use Thunderbird addons to activate rules on a linux machine. Any ideas how I can do that? I don't want to include INBOX and all my other folders, only one specific folder.

Many thanks in advance :-) Tony

Chosen solution

set up the account and in account settings > copies and folders deselect the keep copies on the local machine. Then right click the account in the folder pane and select subscribe and unsubscribe from any folders you do not want to see.

Then right click the folder you want to filer on and set it in properties to synchronize locally.

I think that will work.
