Since around April 1st, the RSS feeds in Thunderbird won't update anymore. I have about 80 feeds, and none of them will update. I have no problems with email which are still working.

I also exported the list of feeds, and created a new profile where I imported the feeds list, but I have the same problem. When I click on "Get Messages" in a given feed or "Blog & News Feed" nothing happens at all, as it's not even trying to access the feeds. I used to have a message on the bottom left saying which feed it was downloading, but now nothing.

Chosen solution

If there is a failure to update each and every feed (as opposed to one or two, which is a network or publisher issue), then you may have been the victim of Bug 1701414.

The fix to backup the feed dbs and recover automatically will be in Tb91. Until then you should periodically export your feeds to an OPML file; you might also recover feeds.json from a backed up profile.
