Until about a week ago sync worked fine to my knowledge and I could look at saved logins on my Note 8 which were sync'd with my W10 desktop. Now FF sync on Note 8 will NOT update and show me saved logins and passwords, pressing the button does NOTHING. It doesn't even open a new page, absolutely nothing. My bookmarks will sync with desktop but NOT passwords/logins.

It is weird because when I go to a website and login, my Note8 does show suggested logins like it always has but in FF you cannot look at saved logins any longer?

Also noticed that under Note 8 accounts and backup, FF is NOT even listed as an account and I thought it used to be listed there.

I know that when I changed FF pw on my Note 8 it deleted the password/logins. But seeing as how they are still showing up on my desktop, obviously they are still saved in FF

Hi Greg

Are you signed into the same Firefox Account with the same email address and password on both devices?

Certainly!

I completely deleted all saved passwords/logins on Firefox on my desktop, then imported .csv file back with all my passwords/logins. Then I signed out on mobile and re-sync'd. Then tried sync on Firefox on my Note 8, same results!

Bookmarks will sync, all my suggested logins are still on my Note 8, yet when clicking settings, logins and passwords, saved logins, it STILL will not open to the page that shows them where you can edit them etc.

So what's up Mozilla, y'all broke this updating this mobile version!

Hi

Assuming you have connected the same Sync account on both your mobile and desktop copies of Firefox, I would start with manually triggering a Sync from the Settings in Firefox on your desktop. Wait a couple of minutes then turn on your Android device and see if the data comes across.

Further to this, do you have user credentials set as an item to Sync in the settings of both copies of Firefox? What version number of Firefox for Android are you using?

87.0.0-rc.1 (Build #2015799099) AC: 73.0.11, bea80bbac GV: 87.0-20210315170 302 AS: 71.0.0

I don't follow what you said about user credentials being an item to sync? On mobile you only have 4 choices, bookmarks, history, logins, open tabs!

Not sure you're paaying attention because I've said I've manually synced for 2 days now and it doesn't allow me to actually see the page of my logins on my Note 8. See pic. I can see all of them in desktop!

They broke this app over the past updates because a few weeks ago this wasn't an issue and I could get the page to open so I could actually see my logins!

So I just found that another app called Firefox Lockwise is the feature that shows you all the logins on mobile.

This used to be integrated with previous versions of FF mobile but seems now it isn't.

And sadly, that app is complete junk! It crashes everytime you use it.

FF going downhill FAST, almost as bad as Facebook app.

Do you have logins set to Sync in both copies of Firefox?
