This is not in relation to either of the above two options, again I am confused. I have today decided to start using Firefox because I have heard that it is safer than google etc. However, I have never been so confused. This site has me worried sick about breached email adresses on websites that I cannot even remember using and are over a year ago. I am quite used to using the internet and have happily gained BSc (Hons) and many other quals and training. I have Google chrome at the moment and although it appears to be accessing and using all of my info - it is still many times easier to get around than Firefox. What I am attempting to fedback is, Firefox is simply the most difficult to understand as I browse through my security options. For example teo-step verification. How on earth does this work? Where is the simple text verification? What I get is some barcode message with lots of information that is far from easy to navigate. I was forced to come out of it as I could not understand how to use it. Why do you assume that we know as much as you about how this works? Firefox looks good, and I liked it until all the rest of the info came along. I have it synced to my phone too. But, I'm afraid I will need to wipe it all off because I am unable to understand quite how to use it. Email Firefox relay... does the alias email address pop up in my yahoo account? Where do I access this fabulous alias email address? Onve more, you do not take the time to fully explain how it works. I mentioned earlier about the breached email addresses. I have sent hundreds of thousands of emails since I supposedly was hacked. What am I to do? Why do you make this quite so mysterious and difficult. Please will you kindly make it simple and actually explain how one accesses the various aspects of Firefix please, as I am going to give up right now and return to my DuckDuckgo on Chrome.

Hi Dave, thanks for trying. It sounds like you started at the deep end with add-on services and didn't get much time to browse the web with Firefox. Browsing with Firefox is like most other browsers: click in the address bar and type a search query or site address, and off you go.

Regarding those services:

Firefox Monitor -- Mozilla's data partner for this service is https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and you can search their site for more details on the breaches if the Monitor site didn't have enough information. Many enormous data leaks do not contain your password. Instead, they are marketing profiles or spammer lists. However, it is worth reviewing the details, regardless of what browser you end up using.

Multi-factor Authentication -- I recently was forced to set this up and chose a third party authentication provider that has both a desktop app and a mobile app (Authy). It's a bit puzzling how these one-time pad apps work, but if you need it, I'm sure you can work it.

Firefox Relay -- This is a forwarding service you can use when you want a "throwaway" email address. I don't use it myself. You could try it and see whether it's useful to you.
