Hi it seems that Microsoft Edge is embedded in the system it automatically opens applications and links, is there a way to completely remove the edge from my pc or at least disable it?

Hello captainvarga

To use firefox as the default browser, on your operating system search for "default applications" or something like that and then on the browser side, select firefox

Hello captainvarga

Regardless of whether the edge is part of windows or not, you can change the default browser, Standard apps> Web browser> select firefox

an easier alternative is to change it by your own firefox

From the moment you click on any link, the browser that will open will be firefox
