Hello,

My incoming Thunderbird email stopped working. I get this message: "An error occurred with the POP3 mail server." However, the host application, Earthlink.com, is able to pick up incoming mail. it just can't send it to Thunderbird. Can you help?

Thanks!

Arden

If you check for a corrupted message through webmail, does incoming mail resume downloading to TB?

This is different. It's not just one email, Thunderbird stopped receiving all emails. I deleted all recents from Earthlink, same results.

What has changed on your system since it stopped working? Was there a major TB update, or security app update? Many of them, such as Avast, TrendMicro, ESET etc. are known to interfere with mail operations. If you search this forum, there are several issues with Earthlink.
