For years I've had multiple open tabs and pinned tabs while browsing, then when I quit and restarted FF all of the tabs reopened when I restarted.

I've recently upgraded to a newer MacBook Pro and now FF is not reopening tabs upon restart. I also didn't need to login to FF each time I started it on my old computer, but FF on the new computer makes me login every time I restart. I'm using version 88.0.1 on the new computer and 88.0 on the previous computer. I have followed the instructions from the article below, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled FF, but nothing has worked:

[Restore Previous Session]

I'm terribly frustrated and I would be ever so appreciative if anyone can help me figure this out! Thank you!

Sorry to hear about this problem. On MacOS, in some cases, users only have a temporary installation or Firefox is launching from a DMG file instead of the Apps folder. Could you review the steps in the following article to see whether you can confirm you have a permanent installation: How to download and install Firefox on Mac.

THANK YOU! I ended up having to uninstall the FF that I had downloaded and reinstall, then I was careful to follow the instructions in the link you provide and, PRESTO, it worked! THANK YOU!
