Google calendar in Thunderbird

more options

Hi,

I have been trying to get a google calendar to sync in thunderbird on my new machine, it is still working on my old machine but when I setup the new calendar using the googleusercontent.com/caldav etc url (same as on the old machine) and complete the OAuth, google says that my browser is out of date asks me to download a browser. After this nothing happens and the calendar is not syncing.

Kind regards,

I am running Thunderbird 78.11.0 64 bit and Thunderbird is set to accept third-party cookies always.

Just wanted to add that I have tried this on the beta version of Thunderbird on linux with a different gmail account and the problem persists.
