Hi

I have found this guide that should help:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/about:debugging

Well - as stated in the question, it's on a mobile (anroid). "Unknown format" is the answer to typing "about:debugging" in the adress bar. Thx for trying...

That article will walk you through how to connect your desktop copy of Firefox to Firefox for Android for debugging webpages that you are working on.

Yes I tried that. And I can see the sttings in what I call FireBug from the phone on the PC. I can also see they are not what they should be. I probably can even corret them to what they should be (what is in the files, FF on the Android does not update when refreshing the page).

The question was not about developing for android. It is a very regular and ordinary web-page, and I have no problem figuring out what is to be in the files. But: FIREFOX DOES NOT UPDATE CHANGED CSS FILES. That is the problem. Only way (I have found) is to close the brower and open it again - and sometimes you even have to do that twice.

Apologies, my mistake.

What is the address of the page and what are the steps to reproduce what you are seeing?

Can't give you my page. Well I can (http://87.55.47.22/BP/) - but it won't help you, as it is private and requires login. Reproducing will require changes to CSS files - and I can't allow you that either.

If you have a site, where you are allowed to do changes, load it in FF for Android, change CSS at the server, and reload page. You will see that the changes are not loaded from server. Deleting files from cache sometimes does the trick - most of the times, I have to shut down the browser to see the changes.

I have a theming script on my machine that dynamically themes a bunch of apps based on the wallpaper.

I overwrite userChrome.css and styles.css for my custom homepage with this script for the new colors. My homepage adopts the colors immediately, but I have to restart FF in in order to get the window CSS to update. I usually have a lot of tabs and windows open, so restarting is a pain. https://19216811.cam/

Hi

Just to confirm, the issue is now solved?

No, issue is NOT solved.

It would appear that "shivawillshowtheway" is determined to be a pain in the butt, and insisting on showing us the wrong way.
