I use filters extensively to automatically file mail into relevant folders. I have some emails from the same email address e.g. no-reply-aws@amazon.com but where the display name is different e.g.. 'Amazon Web Services' or no display name or sometimes the same name as email address i.e. 'no-reply-aws@amazon.com'.

Can I filter based on the display name?

Thank you

Liz

It should work if the criterion is From + contains or is + <Web Services etc.>. Test it by using the same rule in Classic Search, Ctrl+Shift+F. Anything that's in the From: header can be filtered (Ctrl+U to view the source).
