After many tries to correct problems, I was forced to delete all libraries for Thunderbird and its profiles. Now I want to download and do a clean load, however, the download executable says fails due to missing profiles. Examination of the downloaded module appears to be for an upgrade (???) where can I get code to do a clean load?

windows key + R type %appdata% and press enter. Locate the Thunderbird folder and delete it.

My guess is you only think you have removed everything. Not that I expect a re install to do anything to "correct problems" unless they involve your anti virus of system integration as that is about all that will change with a new install.

Reinstalling is not a way to fix issues. Despite Microsoft's training to the contrary.
