Can the top right 'X' button be remapped to Exit instead of Close Window?
with multiple monitors come multiple windows. and sometimes you need to close FF entirely. by habit and by design, every other application has the 'X' button in the top right close the APPLICATION. in FF, this only closes the current WINDOW (NOT TAB!!), which, if you have 2 or 3 (one for each monitor), leads to a lot of cursing as your multi-tab, multi-window layout is now borked. for single window users, this is not something that would ever concern them, but us multi-monitor, multi-window users, it would be nice to be able to have that big 'X' kill the application entirely instead of killing just the window. so is there a way to remap this?
TL;DR: Can the top right 'X' button be remapped to Exit instead of Close Window?

You need to use the menu to close Firefox properly and not the close X in the title bar that only closes the current window with all its tabs.
Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar.
- "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File -> Exit
- Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
- Linux: File -> Quit
