I recently downloaded Thunderbird 91.3.2 for Windows and every time I try to create a new email account, it ALWAYS FAILS with ALL of my gmail accounts.

Thunderbird seems to work fine on my OS X computer, but that was installed years ago.

The same credentials work fine with gmail in Firefox and with Microsoft Windows Mail, but always fail with Thunderbird.

What is the antivirus, and are you trying to connect through a VPN? The first picture indicates you're able to get to the OAuth authentication window, where you enter the account password and allow TB access. The authentication won't complete unless cookies are accepted in TB Preferences.

Still cannot connect, but getting a new pop-up to verify from my phone.

So, I tried using Microsoft Outlook, and I had no problem adding gmail accounts there. There is something wrong with Thunderbird as it's the only email client that cannot connect to gmail...

Since you have 2-step on the account, just follow the directions in the popup and you should be able to proceed to the next step in the authentication, and allow TB access.

There are literally millions of TB users with working gmail accounts.
