Since the last update EVERYTIME I open Firefox I get a message "can't reload last page" or something like that. Then I have to select new - why is it doing that? I'll take a screen shot next time if that would help

Is this only when you start the browser or all the time?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Is the browser set up to load the last session?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
