Missing "Undo Delete Message" in Thunderbird

What happened to Thunderbird's "Undo delete message" option? I am permanently losing messages when timing is off on deleting messages. They don't end up in Trash, and I can't find where they go. This feature disappeared about a couple of months ago or so.

Does the trash folder have the correct special "trash can" icon?
