Videos take too long to start playing
I use Firefox on a Windows 10 Dell Vostro with an 11th Gen i3 processor and 8 GB RAM. For some reason, videos take too long (around 10 seconds) to start playing on Firefox (across sites). This happens even if I resume after pausing the video for around 5-10 seconds. I have tried:
1. Refreshing Firefox 2. Disabling add-on (uBlock origin is the only one I use) 3. Toggling "Use recommended performance settings" 4. Toggling hardware acceleration 5. Toggling webgl.disabled 6. Restarting Firefox in safe mode
Nothing has worked. And I don't face the same issue on Chrome. How do I fix this?

What security software are you running? Try Windows in Safe Mode and see if you have the same issue.
Windows Safe Mode: Press Windows key + R (force Windows to start into safe mode every time you reboot the PC). Press the Windows Key + R. Type msconfig in the dialog box. Select the Boot tab. Select the Safe Boot option and click Apply. Choose Restart to apply the changes when the System Configuration window pops up.
The problem goes away in safe mode but I can't permanently use safe mode. How do I pinpoint the cause and solve it for a regular boot?
As a test, disable your protection programs.
If you mean antivirus, I've already tried that and it didn't work. I've tried it with a clean boot also.

The problem goes away in safe mode . . .
This means one of the other programs on your system is the problem.

Then it must be something else.
Open the computer's Task Manager and check what else is running.
That's easier said than done. There are ~100 things running and I have no clue what could be causing an issue like this. If I had some kind of starting point on what kind of app could cause this, it would be helpful.
At this point the help I can provide is limited.
Shut down one at a time the heavy use (CPU) programs. If the problem goes away, that could be the problem. It might also be more than one program causing the issue.(good luck with that)
