Hi, Firefox brings my computer to halt after a few minutes of usage. The only thing I did after opening the browser is go to support page and the FirefoxCP WebExtensions process memory usage went over 20 GB of memory.

I have tried restarting my MacBook a few times as well as restarting firefox, but nothing has helped. I’ve the latest version of FireFox installed, and using a MacBook Pro with 16GB of memory.

I haven't made any changes nor added anything new lately. I think it may have started after the last update.

Thank you for your time and support!

Probably one of the extensions is malfunctioning. Try to find out what extension it is, by disabling it one by one.

Thank you both for your help. The Task Manager didn't show any issues. Task manger was the one using most memory, but only about 11mb. I turned off the top most extension on the list(Ant Video downloader), and restarted FireFox and that looks to have solved the issue. It's been over 5min and it's working well. I'm happy to be back on FireFox. Thank you!
