Are Firefox developers idiots?

Firefox "new features": messing up good, working things, processes. Need to search for workarounds, "how to restore normal behavior" hacks etc.... Why??? The good new feature is to disable download prompt and start download in the background automatically. WHY? And the browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel option disable does not work for me, need to select for every file type "always ask". Thank you for another hour of s*cking with this sh*t.

Hi! This community support forum is managed by volunteers, who are not Firefox developers nor Mozilla employees, so this is really not the place to vent your frustration. If you have a support question, please ask in a proper manner.
