Okay I can receive emails and reply with text but when I try to forward a email is when I get error this message could not be sent using outgoing server (smpt) outbound.att.net for a unknown reason please verify that your outgoing server (smpt) are correct and try again. So this leaves me to believe that after the last update something changed on your end not with att. and attachments !! Really need this resolved as I rely on this account . Thanks, Wayneo

Is your SMTP server in Thunderbird using the required mailkey instead of a password? Thunderbird stores both incoming and outgoing servers and both need to use a mailkey.

Note that ATT customers can also configure their incoming and outgoing server to use the yahoo server names and use oAUth2.0 authentication. Just keep the ATT email address as the user name for each.

I would guess this is another ATT/Yahoo issue, not a Thunderbird one. Like not being able to send BCC without a TO.

Matt, Thanks for your reply I am using the required mail key and tried to send (to:) and it will send the mail but like you said it will not send via BCC, So my question is how do I fix it, I don't know what you mean (being able to send bcc without a TO) Thanks, Wayneo
