Cursor size
I'm using Firefox Version 98.0.2 on Ubuntu 21.10 with Wayland and Gnome 40.4.0. I choose a larger cursor size from Ubuntu's Settings->Accessibility->Cursor Size. However, in Firefox the cursor always displayed in the smallest size.

What happens in X11?
Is this about the height or about the width of the cursor ?
Well, other browsers (chrome, edge) running on the same distro of Ubuntu 22.04 do respect the theme used (phinger-light) but firefox 101.0.1 doesn't or is reading a GTK ~/.config or ~/.icon theme that chrome/edge choose not to? The cursor changes within the rectangle Firefox "owns" so it seems it is some special setting somewhere. Thunderbird behaves correctly (doesn't mess with theme set in Tweaks)! Same result whether DE is xorg or Wayland.

Have you tried Firefox from Mozilla? You said same issue in X11 and Wayland, how about KDE? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
