Trying to re-enable Kaltura 3rd party cookie to play back my videos for the classes I teach at college.

I keep getting this prompt: "It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies." I have tried so many things and nothing is working. I've had this happen before sometimes at the beginning of a semester; but I have been able to restore it in the past. Now, nothing I do works. Please help. Also, how can we prevent this from happening again? Kaltura is a well known website used by colleges and universities for teaching online classes and playing back video. Why do we have to constantly update the settings? And if so, why are they not working now? Please help. I need to teach my class. Thanks.

You can possibly set a cookie allow exception for the Kaltura top level domain (e.g. https://kaltura.com if that is the top level domain used).

It didn't work. I tried the exception to allow and it says it is allowing it; but it is not. Even when I click on the shield before the website, it says that this site is not disabled. I don't know what else to do.

Hi Toni, Could you try the solutions in the following article and see if any of them help: Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them

The links to the websites to go to my Media Gallery and My Media in my Online Canvas course supported by Kaltura are:

Media Gallery https://hccs.instructure.com/courses/187482/external_tools/216

My Media https://hccs.instructure.com/courses/187482/external_tools/217

Nothing is working so far. I did get Safari to work. Miracles of miracles; but I would love Firefox to work or Google Chrome to work also, since that is my preferred browser to work in (both don't work).

Thanks, Toni
