I made the horrible mistake of refreshing FIrefox. Now nothing opens. EVERYTHINGis DID NOT CONNECT POTENTIAL SECURITY ISSUE. I have followed the 15465456 instructions to try and fix it the best I could... NOTHING.
can someone tell me how to reverse this mess? I refreshed in an effort to get my vanished toolbar back. That worked. NOW, nothing works. I have a toolbar that connects to nothing. if you know this is going to break all the time, can't you just write a macro to fix it? I have followed all the instructions I can find, and it still doesn't work. I REALLLLLLLLY don't want to dump firefox, but I need something reliable that works.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.

I refreshed it too... AND I AM ANGRY at Safari / Mozilla... I cannot believe it wiped out history and passwords. Nothing but anger. They need to create a button to reverse this.

When it works correctly, all your bookmarks and passwords carry over. Did it run to completion, or crash, or do you recall anything unusual?
Normally there will be a folder on your system desktop named Old Firefox Data -- if you have that folder, don't delete it! We'll need it.
