Please help me get my bookmarks restored. It says it is version 102. There is an update that I don't like with a new homepage and my bookmarks are gone. This is very upsetting to me.

Hi

Before you updated, did Firefox for Android have a different design?

Yes it did

I think you may have updated from Firefox for Android 68 (dating back to 2020) to the most recent version (102).

With that older version having been unsupported for quite some time (and most people having updated some time ago), the code to handle the update given the changes in Firefox for Android has (I understand) been removed.

OK but is there something I can do to get my bookmarks back? I need them. It's ridiculous for an update to delete my bookmarks without warning. Thank you

Could there be a way to reset my phone to prior to this update?

Unless you had previously synced your bookmarks to a copy of Firefox on another device, it will not be possible to recover them.
