Emails in gmail account being blocked from printing them out.

Just recently I can't print out emails that have information I want to use from the computer. A box pops up that says a pop-up may be blocked. I didn't think an email is a pop-up. Help!!!

Hi, your question ended up on the iPhone/iPad forum, but it sounds like you mean on your Mac. (A moderator can move this question if that's true.)

Well, actually, a lot of webmail sites do show a print-optimized version of a message in a new window or new tab when you use their menu or icon to print a message. So I think it's worth trying to unblock popups on Gmail and see what happens. Here's how:

Firefox usually will display an extra icon near the lock at the left end of the address bar when a permission is currently in plan, so that you could make a site exception. If you don't see that icon, you can use the Page Info dialog (Command+i), which has a full site permissions list where you can adjust the "Open pop-up windows" permission and any others you need to tweak.

Does that make any difference?
