I had to get a new laptop as my previous one crashed. I have reinstalled my thunderbird emails but I cant find some files I saved .Ex:add new folder drop down. These are important documents and I dont know how to retrieve them. Is there a way to still get them.? Help please.

was your previous account IMAP? if it was all mail would still be on the server. but some like google have special hoops for you to jump through.

It is pop 3 i use xplornet.ca but I import thunderbird & used sub folders when I reinstalled all sub folders were gone & had important documents saved. Can I retrieve? When I had someone transfer my stuff from old computer they did not backup thunderbird. & said my computer crashed (hard drive)& can't get back into it..
