I am helping someone that is running Thunderbird (102.2.2) on Linux, and they want to migrate their contacts to Thunderbird running on Windows. When we attempt to export the contacts, it appears as though absolutely nothing happens when we click the 'Export...' option (under 'Events and Tasks'). After the 'Export...' option is clicked, the dropdown box just disappears. No options are provided (file name, destination, file format, etc.).

I have tried selecting one (or all) contact(s), doesn't change a thing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Open the Address Book tab, select an address book in the left pane, right-click, Export..., choose LDIF format.

To import, click the Import button in Address Book and follow the prompts to import the LDIF.
