I am changing my domain, website and email host.

I have created Thunderbird email account and can see all my emails there.

When I close my existing email host all emails will be removed - will the emails be retained on Thunderbird?

Thanks.

Chosen solution

If a POP account, yes, as you will be prompted on that. If an IMAP account, my suggestion is to click File>offline to ensure you have download copy of all and then copy the folder to local folders for safety. Moving to Local Folders isolates the messages from an account.
