Hello,

My elderly parents have been using Thunderbird's free services for some years now.

Lately, they say they have been unable to send emails unless they make a donation. They can still receive emails but not send them.

Is this possible?

They say they get messages that they need to donate. These messages are possibly from pop-up windows (I don't think from emails).

Please advise.

Thanks

Steve Longhurst

I don't know what they're seeing, but Thunderbird is free for everyone to use. From your post, it appears they have a problem in how their email account is set up. If they post that information here, someone may be able to assist them in being able to send emails.
