Can no longer send messages from this account. Error message

"Sending of the message failed.

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Domain of sender address rayge@phonecoop.coop does not resolve. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again." What does this actually mean, and why has it suddenly started happening after 12 trouble-free years? I certainly haven't messed with any of the settings, and am at a loss. Ray Granger

Magically, full service has resumed without any intervention from me. Thank you for time.

The error message is stating that your domain name is not converting to an IP address. This is not a thunderbird issue, but an account issue. I suggest you check with your email provider on this.

Thanks, will do: however, I have five accounts with that email provider, and the other four are working fine, as had the one in question until this morning. I'll check with them and get back to you.
