For some reason text on some websites such as wikipedia and timeanddate is completely messed up, it looks like gibberish but is actually just displayed wrong. When you copy the text and paste it into something like Word it shows the text correctly, I've noticed that the text is shifted by one letter forward (e is f, f is g, etc.). I've tried the main, beta and nightly releases as well as reinstalling Firefox. Images attached.

\You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts.

This can be caused by a problem with fonts you have installed locally and that might be corrupted or are missing variants. You will have to identify and remove corrupted font(s).

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

You shouldn't disable "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" as this will cause issues with iconic fonts used by webpages to display small icons.

I found out that both sites use Normal Helvetica (400) and changing the thickness of the font would fix it. Other browsers and text programs display the font perfectly. Any ideas on how to fix this except for forcing sites to use something like Arial? Either way, thank you for your help so far!
