can I run both 32 bit and 64 bit versions on one computer? My image catalog application will only allow me to prepare for mail images on 32 bit e-mail apps. This is something I used to use every day, but one day just stopped working on my 64 bit version of Thunderbird.

Yes, you can. But there is no need - 32bit has very little advantage over 64bit, so just run the 32bit. You should install the 32bit version over top the 64bit version, i.e. into the same program directory. 32bit available at https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/

Note, some time next year there will likely be an automatic migration of 32bit to 64bit. When that happens, just again install the 32bit version.

Can you be (very) more specific please?
