Hello, The program will not open to install. I need to install a browser but i only have ie as a browser and it won't allow me to look for firefox. Any other ideas? Dave.

Hi Dave, the installer will not run? Does it matter if you copy it to your desktop and try to run it from there?

What OS is running on the laptop? The current version should run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11. It will not run on XP or Vista.

Hello, Windows xp is my OS. So i need Firefox to run with that. I know it can be done as i have in the passed. Any ideas on how i can put a browser on my laptop and then from there go to Mozilla? Dave.

For Windows XP, you need the Firefox 52.9.0 ESR version.

Current Firefox releases require Windows 7 and newer. Users on Windows XP and Vista have been moved to the Firefox 52 ESR version.

You need to copy the Firefox install file to a USB stick to transfer this file.
