I was sent a email from my bank telling me my browser needs to be updated? I thought I was up to date with all new Firefox updates, I'm I? Thanks

Did you contact your bank to confirm that they send this email as it is always possible that this is a phishing attempt ?

If you get a pop-up message asking to update Firefox or plugins or receive emails then such a message is likely or possiblt a scam and you should NEVER respond to avoid getting infected with malware.

  • only update Firefox via "Help -> About" or by downloading and installing Firefox from the Mozilla and never via a pop-up or link on a web page.
