I set it to open at start up but even if I open it through .desktop file problem still exists

No, I ran firefox through .desktop file which is just ‘Exec=firefox’ command. I even created a new tmux session after launching firefox and still closes itself when I execute “exit”
Note: Firefox closes just like you click the “x” button, not crash
I assume if you take tmux out of the process, Firefox would have no issue?

If you're talking about killing it, then yes. A temporary solution for this is manually detach it Ctrl+B A then use tmux kill-session -t <session-name>
You said "I set it to open at start up". How? Just running Firefox from the icon without tmux, does the browser work normally? I'm still trying to understand how this is a Firefox issue.

I'm sorry for the confusion, I'm using gnome-tweaks to launch apps at startup. But Firefox still closes itself when I execute "exit" command (despite having any relation to "tmux").
NEW CLUE: After updating Firefox, here's what I extracted from terminal (See the included gif for more information)
