Accidentally clicked on the Add-ons widget on the right side of the menu bar and now "add-ons manager" web page opens every time I open Firefox.

How do I stop that page from loading?

Chosen solution

Possibly the address of that page (about:addons) was tacked on to your home page setting as a second tab. When you review the Custom URLs setting that could look like this:

https://www.example.com/|about:addons

Ref. How to set the home page

Or, if it is a pinned tab (icon-only tab that reloads at startup), you need to unpin it.

Note: This add on manager tab opens as a second tab after my home page tab. It is not the home page.

Thank You. It was caught as a second home page somehow. A minor annoyance removed from my day!

Thanks DBW
