I am having trouble importing my info/bookmarks/passwords from Safari

I am following instructions and getting to the point where it says click on safari folder then press open - when I press open nothing happens It just takes me back to the library to click on safari folder again and just keeps doing that

Any advice ?

Here is a quick guide to the steps required to export bookmarks from Safari: Open Safari. In the menu bar, select the “File” tab. Click “Export Bookmarks”. Enter a name and the target (the default target is the desktop) for the bookmarks file. Click “Save” to complete the process.

Are you using the command in the menu bar menu (File > Import from another browser)? If that is failing, try starting Firefox in troubleshoot mode.
