Where to find Notifications in Firefox browser?

Before I can even get on my computer, I can see Notifications for Firefox. I use my password to login to my desktop computer and the Notification in the upper right hand corner are there for a few seconds more, then they disappear. I do NOT know where to see them again and I truly would like for this activity to stop. Where do I find Notifications after I launch Firefox (my preferred browser and the ONLY browser I use) to see what the notifications have to say, and how can I disable Notifications?

I think on Mac, Firefox sends notification to the centralized Mac OS notifications system. Is there a way to check its list, or once they flit off the screen they are gone for good?

Remove the push notification permission for websites you don't wish to receive notifications.
