I think that if you tell us what version of Thunderbird you're using, what operating system you're using, what email server you have (Gmail, ATT, WhateverMail) and whether you're using POP or IMAP, someone here might be able to help you. Oh yes, you might tell us what exactly is happening when you try "to receive any new emails to the accounts."
