Windows 2012 R2 is based on Windows 8.1

Firefox 116.0 and later requires Windows 10 or later to run.

The latest you can run on Windows 2012 R2 is Fx 115.0 ESR which will gets updates until 115.15.0 ESR planned in September 2024.
