Hello, The latest version of Thunderbird is now automatically spamming many of my emails that are not spam. When I unspam them those emails are being deleted for ever and I can't read them. The systems message indicates they are being rerturned to Inbox, but they are being permanently deleted instead. How can I stop this? Thankyou for your attention. Stuart Amyes

Update: I have fixed the problem. Turns out there is a hidden inbox associated with Local Folders. I am still not sure exactly what I did to find this inbox. I can be a bit of a fiddler when I am trying to solve problems (showing my age!!) and cannot always remember each step after I fix things. Anyway; my “lost” emails turned up in this Local Folders inbox and I have now moved them to where I normally use them. I have also included the Local Folders inbox into the Unified Inbox system to solve future problems if they arise again. Thankyou to those who provided input along the way. Regards, Stuart A.
