spam emails

more options

I've been using Thunderbird for years but lately I've been having all kinds of issues. For right now I'm trying to figure out how to move emails I've marked as "Spam" (the column with what looks little a double arrow thing) into a spam folder. I went through and clicked on that little double arrow thing and it turns red. However, I can't see anything that would allow me to have all of those go into the spam folder.

Thank you for any help, Joe

Do you have the automatically move option set in account settings in the junk settings for the account?

Hi Matt. I checked the "junk settings" and the box is checked, however, none of the items marked junk every to to the junk folder.

Now it looks like new emails from the senders that I have marked as spam are going into the Spam folder. Is there any way to send all the old ones there?
