Thunderbird windows does not appears after last update
Hello everybody,
after receiving a regular update for Thunderbird yesterday evening, this morning a new problem: Thunderbird starts but the just a vertical line is displayed on the screen, exactly at the center. It seems like the usual window is resized to this minimal dimension.
I tried to move the mouse on it to move/resize this "line" to regular window with no success. Also I tried to right-click on the program name in the lower task-bar, but the "minimize/maximize/resize" commands make no effect.
If I try to run thunderbird from the command line, I receive this error multiple times:
giulio@ubu:~$ thunderbird [ImapModuleLoader] Using nsImapService.cpp [Parent 8764, Main Thread] WARNING: gtk_style_context_get_state: assertion 'GTK_IS_STYLE_CONTEXT (context)' failed: 'glib warning', file /build/thunderbird-DhJeU5/thunderbird-115.4.0+build1/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:167 ...
Any clue? I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 How I can revert to the previous version?

I tried to revert to a previous version, and I entered the following command:
sudo apt install thunderbird=1:68.10.0+build1-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
(version 1.68 is very old, but was the only one listed by "apt policy thunderbird"...) Now Thunderbird ask me to make a new profile at the start because the current profile was used by a most recent version... I think made a mess...
Any solution?
Nobody here? How I can go back from version 115 to a previous one? Do I have lost all my contacts and emails?
Please I need help.
