When I open the Manage Bookmarks in Firefox I have thousands (not exaggerating) of recently bookmarked items. How to I delete all of them? I think I turned that feature off via the browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked. I changed it from True to False I have tried deleting them one by one but it seems like they recreate and I am not making any progress deleting. How do I delete all of them?

Thank you.

If you mean the "Recent Bookmarks" list that shows in the Bookmarks menu that you open via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list or via the Library toolbar button, then this is showing the result of a query sorted by date created, so you remove one bookmark then the next takes its place and only if all bookmarks are removed, then this list will be empty.

A pref to hide the recent bookmarks hasn't been supported for quite some time, you can click trashcan to reset and remove this pref.
