Hi, I did not realize that default option for browsing in Firefox for Android these days is Private mode. I downloaded it on Android 14 and am unable to see my browsing history which had some hours of search work across a topic

Is there a way to access the browsing history without rooting the device?

Hi

The default option for Firefox for Android is normal browsing mode, not private browsing mode. I am guessing that you have set the private browsing mode shortcut to your Android home screen.

Rooting an Android device is not recommended but even if you did that, you are unlikely to find the information you seek as a) rooting the device is likely to cause it being deleted and b) browsing history from private browsing mode is not retained.
